Yields1 Serving
Ingredients
2 cups distilled or filtered water
2 tbsp raw organic coconut oil
2 drops Tree Tea essential oil
 3 drops Lavender essential oil
1-3 tbsp your favorite natural organic baby wash or shampoo OR Dr. Bronner’s liquid soap
1 small spray bottle and a storage container
An empty baby wipes container or container with a lid.
One roll of Viva paper towels or something just as durable and thick
Baby Solution Directions
1

Bring water to a boil and set aside to cool. Add the coconut oil and stir well until melted. Add the liquid baby wash or shampoo and blend well. The liquid soap will help with cleaning your baby’s bum clean and adds a fresh baby scent to your wipes. Once cooled, add the essential oils. Tea Tree contains anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties that help prevent yeast from diaper rashes. It will also sooth itching and help clear up rashes. It is also an antiseptic which will act as a preservative for your solution. Lavender also has soothing abilities. It has been used to speed up the healing process of skin wounds and rashes. Like Tea Tree oil, Lavender contains antifungal and antiseptic properties. Both oils assist with inflammatory conditions.

The last step is to add the solution to a spray bottle and to your wipes. You can spray the baby’s bum directly or you can spray a cloth wipe before wiping. This method is great for on the go.

Baby Wipe Directions

Cut paper towel roll in half. Use a sharp non-serrated knife. This will prevent small pieces of paper in your wipes. Take half the roll and place it in your container or old baby wipes container. Pour your solution until the entire roll is well soaked. Place the lid on the container and wait a few minutes. Remove lid and take out the center cardboard roll from the paper towels. Carefully unroll the first paper towel from the center of the roll. Each wipe after that will easily be removed. See our how-to video and pictures.

Congratulations! You just made your first batch of baby wipes and solution. You are now on your way to saving money on baby wipes.
